Runner

• Frame: the main structure of the bicycle, to which all other parts are attached.
• Wheels: consist of rims, spokes, hubs and tires.
• Tires: provide contact with the ground, they can be different depending on the type of bicycle (road, mountain, city).

Lighting system

• Front light: illuminates the road ahead of the bicycle.
• Rear light: increases the visibility of the cyclist to other road users.
• Reflectors: placed on the pedals, wheels and frame, improve the visibility of the bicycle.

Drive system

• Crankset: the part to which the pedals are attached.
• Pedals: allow the bike to be propelled.
• Chain: transfers power from the crankset to the rear wheel.
• Cassette: a set of sprockets on the rear wheel.
• Gears: allow the gears to be changed, and can be front or rear.

Steering system

• Handlebar: allows the bike to be steered.
• Stem: connects the handlebars to the fork.
• Fork: the front part of the frame to which the front wheel is attached.

Steering system brake

• Brakes: can be caliper, disc or drum.
• Brake levers: located on the handlebars, used to operate the brakes.
• Brake cables: transfer power from the levers to the brakes (in the case of mechanical brakes).
